Today and for the rest of this week, we will dive into the domain of leadership. We will begin by defining leadership, review relevant theories that would shed light on the concept and phenomena,

In the second half of today’s session, we will learn about different leadership styles (and there are several interesting styles to note) as they may be observed under different circumstances and contexts. We then move to explore key leadership theories to develop a better understanding of the phenomena and the concept of leadership.

As always, let’s have a moment of inspiration, this time contributed by the father of contemporary management, Peter Drucker who stated that: “Leadership is lifting a person's vision to high sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.”

Indeed, an authentic leader can elevate our performance and ascend with us to higher dimensions.
